I love to write and I love history – my current project is a big one – the diary of my Great Grandfather during the Great War – I am documenting it at www.voyagetoindia.co.uk, along with a number of his postcards.

I try all sorts of creative things, rarely succeeding, but you’ve got to try right?!  I like to try my hand at many art and craft projects, including drawing, crochet, sewing, decoupage, jewellery-making and anything else that takes my fancy.

I also love food! I like to eat it, of course, and I like to try new and old recipes – this site forms bit of a recipe journal for me, to save the many cuttings from stacking up.

My other loves – in addition to husband and dog – include shoes, shopping for frivolous things, wine and my allotment and each may get a mention along the way!
